BOOST-IN has been featured by the European Commission’s CORDIS platform in a new Results Pack showcasing 14 EU-funded projects delivering innovative and scalable solutions for a more competitive and climate-resilient Europe.
Published under the title “Innovative adaptation solutions for a competitive and climate-resilient Europe,” the Results Pack highlights projects developing technologies, services, decision-support tools and enabling frameworks to help communities, infrastructure and businesses better anticipate and manage climate risks.
BOOST-IN is featured in the section dedicated to strengthening drought resistance, where its work is highlighted for helping remove barriers to water reuse. Alongside other EU-funded projects, BOOST-IN demonstrates how innovation in water management can contribute to climate adaptation, economic security and long-term resilience.
Supporting the uptake of circular water solutions
The dedicated CORDIS feature on BOOST-IN highlights the growing pressure that climate change is placing on the quantity and quality of Europe’s water resources and the need to rethink how water is managed.
BOOST-IN aims to accelerate the uptake of Water and Circular Economy Solutions (WACES) by combining innovation scouting, impact assessment, co-creation, policy analysis, market support and standardisation activities.
The project has developed a repository containing 727 entries, including 218 validated WACES, while its regional implementation roadmaps are engaging hundreds of stakeholders to improve the governance, acceptance and uptake of circular water solutions.
BOOST-IN is also supporting innovators through commercialisation and business mentoring activities and making circular water solutions more accessible through its innovations database and integration with the Water Europe Marketplace.
