Registration is now open for the BOOST-IN Final Conference, taking place on 25 November 2026 at SPARKS MEETINGS, Rue Ravenstein 60, Brussels, back-to-back with Water Knowledge Europe 2026.

The conference will bring together European projects, innovators, policymakers, water utilities, public authorities, industry representatives, investors, research organisations and stakeholder networks to discuss how Water and Circular Economy Solutions (WACES) can be more effectively supported, connected and scaled across Europe.

Taking place during the same week as Water Knowledge Europe and the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster event, the conference offers an opportunity to connect complementary initiatives and explore shared pathways from research and demonstration to practical deployment.

Connecting innovation, policy and market uptake

The programme will focus on the challenges and opportunities identified throughout BOOST-IN, with discussions organised around four priorities:

  • Connecting the circular water innovation ecosystem: strengthening cooperation between projects, platforms and stakeholder networks, and maintaining collaboration beyond individual project lifetimes.
  • Enabling policy and governance frameworks: translating recommendations into practical action through regulatory clarity, coordinated governance, economic incentives and stakeholder trust.
  • Addressing standardisation and End-of-Waste barriers: exploring how quality criteria and regulatory approaches can support confidence in resources recovered from water and wastewater.
  • Moving from innovation to uptake: connecting promising solutions with potential users, investors and opportunities for replication and scale-up.

An interactive programme

Starting at 09:00, the conference will combine keynote interventions, thematic roundtables and presentations of project results with opportunities for networking and exchange.

The morning programme will explore collaboration across European initiatives, the visibility of innovations through the Water Europe Market Place and BOOST-IN database, and the policy and standardisation conditions needed to support circular water solutions.

In the afternoon, a session on Women in Circular Water Innovation will examine the contribution of women innovators and inclusive leadership. An interactive Business Café will feature short innovation pitches, expert questions and audience participation, opening discussions on market opportunities and scaling challenges.

A Poster & Innovation Showcase, accessible during conference breaks, will give participants space to discover solutions, exchange practical experiences and identify potential collaborations.
