BIOAZUL SL
BIOAZUL is a technological consultancy and engineering SME focused on the development of co innovative solutions for water management (wastewater treatment and water reuse). It has two main business areas strongly interconnected: identification, production (writing and negotiation) and implementation (development of technical, coordination and management tasks) of applied research and international cooperation projects and the development, optimisation and distribution of eco-innovative products and technologies for wastewater treatment.
Regarding project management, BIOAZUL has in-depth know-how both of the available funding tools (FP6, FP7, IEE, Eco-Innovation, H2020, Horizon Europe) and the necessary technical and administrative procedures for carrying out public-funded R&D&I. BIOAZUL has participated in 84 projects, being 78 of them international initiatives funded or co-funded by the European Commission under any of its framework programmes. BIOAZUL has coordinated 34 out of those 78 international projects, either as general coordinator (14 projects) or as administrative coordinator (20 projects).

ECOFILAE
ECOFILAE is a French independent and innovative consulting company (SME) based in Montpellier, committed to develop solutions for unconventional water reuse projects.
With 20 engineers and over 180 specific references in France and internationally, ECOFILAE deals with different types of unconventional waters: domestic treated wastewater, greywater, industrial wastewater and saline water. ECOFILAE helps develop water reuse projects for territories and communities, industry, agriculture and viticulture, and for urban uses and leisure spaces (green spaces, parks, golf courses, theme parks, street cleaning, etc.).
The different services provided by ECOFILAE include technical feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, life cycle analysis, R&D projects: lab and field experiments, training programs and webinars.
ECOFILAE is an expert at the international level and contributes to EU, French and ISO working groups on water reuse regulation.

Founded in 1088, the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (UNIBO) is the oldest University of the western world and one of the most important institutions of higher education across Europe. UNIBO is strongly committed to research and innovation and it is one of the most active Italian universities in European and international R&I projects. It will act in BOOST-IN project through the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) and the Department of Education Studies “Giovanni Maria Bertin” (EDU). DISTAL provides state-wide leadership in research and teaching in horticulture, sustainable agricultural, food systems and environment, agricultural and food economics and policy. EDU cultivates an interdisciplinary approach to educational studies, focusing mostly on scholastic, extra-curricular and professional development contexts, as well as lifelong learning.

Kompetenzzentrum Wasser Berlin (KWB) is a non-profit water research centre based in Berlin, founded in 2001. KWB stands for applied science, consulting and innovation. We are resolute in addressing crucial future issues including climate change, water crises, digitalisation, sector coupling, and urbanisation with dedicated research, practical solutions and inventive services.
In BOOST-IN, KWB will contribute to the scouting of innovative water circular economy solutions, and the extension of Water Europe Marketplace with knowledge and networking opportunities amongst innovators, end users and investors. We will conduct life-cycle assessments, define end-of-waste criteria and product quality standards to boost the market uptake of water circular economy solutions in Europe. This way, BOOST-IN makes an important contribution to tackling the challenges of climate change.

Bulgarian Water Association - BWA
BWA is a non-governmental organisation uniting more than 300 members divided into two main groups: corporate and individual (experts), all of them involved in the water supply and sewerage (WSS) field, including but not limiting to the quality and treatment of drinking-, industrial-, agricultural- and wastewater as well as management, preservation and utilization of water resources. The core of the Association are the regional and local companies dealing with water supply and wastewater disposal as well as designers’ bureaus, construction/assembly-, manufacturing-, export-, import- and other companies as well as scientific, managerial and technical staff working in the water sector; therefore, it can be fairly called “The Bulgarian Water Voice”.
