Building a more water-resilient Europe requires action across policy, research, innovation, industry and investment.
These different perspectives will come together at Water Innovation Europe 2026, taking place in Dublin on 13–14 October. Registrations for the event are now officially open.
Under the theme “Raising the Bar for the Water Framework Directive,” the conference will examine how Europe can accelerate the transition from strategic ambition towards implementation.
As climate change, water scarcity, pollution and increasing pressure on water resources continue to affect regions and economic sectors across Europe, strengthening resilience will depend on the ability to develop, demonstrate and scale effective solutions.
The BOOST-IN project will be promoted during the conference as part of this wider European innovation landscape. Water Innovation Europe 2026 will provide an opportunity to position this work within the broader debate on Europe’s water future, while connecting the project with policymakers, researchers, utilities, industry representatives and other European initiatives.
The event will also provide a platform for identifying synergies and exploring how innovation can contribute to the effective implementation of Europe’s water and resilience objectives.
