The RE-FEM project – ‘Upskilling pathways for REsiliency in the post-Covid era for FEMale Entrepreneurs’ is co-funded by the European Union. It aims to empower women entrepreneurs through need-based training for maintaining resilient businesses in the post-covid era .
RE-FEM brings together various organisations and corporations all throughout Europe to fulfill its goal of empowering women entrepreneurs. The project’s coordinator HÉTFA Research Institute (Hungary) works in partnership with Andalucía Emprende Fundación Pública Andaluza (Spain), Brand-Sofi (Finland), Mihajlo Pupin Institute (Serbia), Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations (Bulgaria), Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (Romania), Slovak Business Agency (Slovakia), and SEED Foundation (Hungary).
Within RE- FEM, there are many opportunities for women entrepreneurs, mentors and trainers for professional improvement.
The Preparatory Research (PR1) called Women Entrepreneurs in Turbulent Times – Research Report, which is a cross-country research report that investigates the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, focusing on the effects of the post-COVID era and energy crises. This research helps to identify opportunities and strategies for supporting women entrepreneurs in overcoming these challenges.
The newly released Training Manual (PR2) is designed for trainers, adult educators, and mentors to help them support women entrepreneurs. It contains five modules, each with different learning topics, including digital transformation and readiness, access to finance and innovation, servitization and innovation, sustainability in times of crisis, and the personal resilience, well-being, and gender implications of being a woman.
The RE-FEM Open Education Platform (PR3) offers useful resources, grants and programmes for women entrepreneurs, educators, mentors and trainers. Motivational videos and the Online Course are excellent tools, providing valuable insights and skills development to help them succeed in their business ventures.
RE-FEM’s Final Policy Study (PR4) will be arriving soon, delivering in-depth analysis and recommendations aimed at advancing the support and empowerment of women entrepreneurs across Europe.
