On 13 October, the long awaited Kick off Meeting of CEN Workshop Agreement initiated by the BOOST-IN project successfully took place.

During this meeting all participants got deeper insight into how CENELEC works, what is the aim of the BOOST-IN project as well as the topic of proposed CWA. In this first meeting experts, stakeholders and university projects working on circular products and technologies enabling circularity in the water sector, engaged in the first discussion on CWA’s scope and confirmed the workshop chair (Dr. Thomas Track, DECHEMA) and vice-chair (Dr. Christian Remy, KWB) as a part of the official requirement.

Thanks to Javier Idiago Lopez from UNE for taking on the role of workshop secretary and leading us through this process in the standardization environment.

We are looking forward to our next meetings, where we will craft this document together with you and by that coming one step closer towards circular water economy.
