BOOST-IN is developing a CEN Workshop Agreement focused on water-related Circular Economy products. This agreement aims to develop a roadmap/ guidance on product quality criteria, KPIs and relevant methods that support product certification.

What is a CEN Workshop Agreement?

The CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) is a consensus document developed within Research and Innovation projects. Provided by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), it enables all interested stakeholders to collaborate and share their expertise, guidelines, and relevant information within a credible standardisation environment. Although CWA itself is not a formal standard, it can support future standardisation activities. Moreover, CWA remains publicly accessible for three years and, after revision, can be extended for an additional three years.

Water related Circular Economy products

The forthcoming CWA aims at developing guidance/roadmap on evaluating product quality criteria for water-related Circular Economy products, defining product types, related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and relevant methods that can support product certification.

This document is applicable to researchers, public authorities, circular economy product owners, NGOs, water utilities, manufacturers and users or companies developing market-ready solutions.
