Following a successful event held Monday, June 23, the full recording of the Water Projects Europe session, ‘Building a Water-Smart Resilient Europe,’ is now publicly available on YouTube. The session, co-hosted by EU-funded projects BOOST-IN and CIRSEAU, provided an essential resource for policymakers, innovators, and stakeholders dedicated to solving Europe’s water challenges.

The event addressed the increasing strain on Europe’s water resources by presenting a unique, dual-pronged approach. The BOOST-IN project demonstrated its methodology for empowering local and regional actors with the necessary tools and skills to implement water-smart solutions. In parallel, the CIRSEAU project presented its work on redesigning governance models to enable cross-sectoral collaboration and shape transformative water policy.

The dialogue was opened with a keynote address by Bertrand Vallet of the European Commission, who provided crucial insights into the European Union’s strategy for achieving a water-smart and resilient society. His remarks were followed by dedicated sessions on each project’s focus and a concluding panel that explored the powerful synergy between ground-level action and systemic change.
