The Expo AgriTech 2024, a premier event bringing together experts, companies, and initiatives from the agri-food and technology sectors, provided the perfect platform for the BOOST-IN project to highlight its innovative circular economy solutions in water. The event, held  on 26-28 November 2024, was marked by engaging presentations, collaborative discussions, and a spotlight on technologies transforming the agricultural sector.

Representatives from BIOAZUL, joined BOOST-IN project coordinator Angela Magno Malagón to present the project’s progress and goals. The EU-funded BOOST-IN initiative focuses on promoting circular water economy solutions to tackle pressing challenges such as water scarcity and efficient resource management.

At the BIOAZUL stand, located in the innovative projects zone, the team showcased the BOOST-IN project’s ongoing work on the characterization and mapping of innovations, a critical phase to ensure selected solutions deliver significant impacts across target regions. Visitors to the stand gained insights into the project’s methodologies and its vision for a sustainable future.

In addition, a highlight of the event was Angela Magno Malagón’s presentation in the demo room, where she outlined the project’s achievements and ambitions. Her talk emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving forward solutions that not only address water scarcity but also advance sustainability across the agri-food sector.
