Within the framework of BOOST-IN , our coordinator BIOAZUL is organising the 2nd Co-creation Workshop on the Public Perception of Water Reuse in Agriculture, which will take place on 24 February as part of Transfiere Forum, Europe’s leading forum for knowledge and technology transfer, in Málaga (Spain).
This second workshop builds on the participatory process initiated during the first edition and aims to translate the results obtained into a strategic action plan to foster the adoption of circular solutions in water management in Andalusia. The session will focus on prioritising concrete measures to strengthen awareness, social acceptance and the effective implementation of water reuse in the agricultural sector.
The workshop will bring together key stakeholders from the Andalusian Opportunity Region, including farmers, water operators, policy makers, consumers, technical experts and representatives of the innovation ecosystem. Participants will work collaboratively to define specific actions, responsibilities, timelines and monitoring mechanisms, based on previously identified innovative solutions and the real needs of the territory.
During the session, the following aspects will be addressed, among others:
- Prioritisation of measures to improve public perception and trust in the use of reclaimed water in agriculture.
- The role of communication, governance and multi-stakeholder cooperation in the adoption of circular solutions.
- Definition of roadmaps and action plans tailored to the Andalusian regional context.
- Connection with innovative solutions and real-life experiences in the field of circular water economy.
If you are interested in actively contributing to the design of strategies for a more sustainable, resilient and circular water management, we invite you to take part in this workshop. REGISTER NOW.
