On 19 October 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00 CET, the BOOST-IN project and the Water Europe Expert Group on Water Efficiency, Reuse and Circularity will jointly organise the online webinar “Water Efficiency for a Resilient Europe: Policy and Practice.”

The event will explore how Europe can strengthen water resilience by translating policy ambitions into practical action. It will provide an overview of the European Water Resilience Strategy, its main objectives and recent developments, while focusing in particular on the role of water efficiency in responding to climate change, drought, water scarcity and increasing competition for water resources.

Alongside the policy perspective, the webinar will showcase practical examples and experiences from across Europe, looking at existing approaches to assessing and improving water efficiency. Speakers will discuss current initiatives, key challenges and opportunities for turning strategic objectives into concrete measures.

The session will also address the contribution of water reuse, circularity, innovation, governance and stakeholder engagement to building a more resilient and sustainable European water sector.

Designed for both experts and non-specialists, the webinar will combine strategic insights with practical examples and include dedicated discussion and Q&A sessions, giving participants the opportunity to exchange directly with speakers.

By bringing together the expertise and networks of BOOST-IN and Water Europe, the event aims to encourage knowledge exchange, strengthen collaboration and support the transition towards a more water-efficient, circular and resilient European economy.
